Lunch
Japanese schools are very different from Australian school. In Japan, we usually have lunch in the class room sitting at our desk. Never outside, never sit on the ground. The field of the most Japanese school is not grass, that is earth. My first day of the school in Australia, I am surprised. I liked that. I feel like having a picnic.
The lunches are very different too. Students bring "obentou" for lunch from their home. " obentou" is like this.
Their mother make these every morning. We eat a lot for lunch because w don't have time for recess. In most of the elementary schools and junior high schools the students are not allowed to bring any snacks to school.
And this is "kyara benn".
Some of the mothers make these for their children. My mother never makes these for me :-(
I want to have one.
Lovely blog so far Saki!
